This week I thought I would have more time to plan ahead to the next unit that has to start on Tuesday, but as usual I got bogged down by specifics and details. Of course the election results were a main factor there. For their election scrapbook project, many students had been following the Georgia governor race, Florida senator & governor races, and the Arizona senate election --- which are still undecided! I needed to keep researching and following the news for all 4 elections, while also doing some modifications on the fly (as often happens when doing a project for the first time).
In the end, I think the scrapbooks turned out pretty well. I need to formally assess most of them this weekend, but for some reason I'm typing this blog post instead.
